PreBell ("we", "us", "our") operates the PreBell website and web application. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What we collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:
- Email address — when you join the waitlist. Collected via Formspree. Used only to notify you when PreBell launches and to send product updates you can unsubscribe from at any time.
- Chart images — when you use the analysis tool, your uploaded chart image is sent to the Anthropic API for analysis. Images are not stored by PreBell. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their privacy policy.
- Usage data — we use browser localStorage to enforce a daily analysis limit. No usage data is sent to our servers or stored externally.
Third-party services
- Formspree — processes waitlist form submissions and stores your email on our behalf.
- Anthropic — powers the chart analysis. Chart images are sent to Anthropic's API. We do not store your chart images.
- Netlify — hosts this website. Netlify may collect standard server logs (IP address, request timestamps).
- Google Fonts — used for typography. Google may log font requests.
How we use your data
- To send you waitlist and launch notifications (email only, opt-out any time)
- To provide the chart analysis service
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not use your data for advertising
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing prebellapp@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
To unsubscribe from emails, click the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or contact us directly.
Data retention
Waitlist email addresses are retained until you request deletion or until the product launches and you become an active user. Chart images are not retained at all.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use cookies. We use browser localStorage to remember your daily analysis usage. This data stays in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via email to waitlist members.
